Eben Hammond Jr. Killed in Oakhurst Accident on Road 427 near Elliot Drive
Oakhurst, California (July 12, 2021) – 20-year-old Eben Hammond Jr. has been identified as the victim who died following an alleged hit-and-run skateboard collision in Oakhurst Wednesday night.
The deadly crash happened on Road 427 near Elliot Drive at the night hours on July 7
Hammond Jr. was riding a skateboard on the highway together with his two friends in front of him when he was rear-ended by a Jeep Cherokee or Toyota 4Runner, with round yellow headlights and rectangular tail-lights, shortly before midnight.
Eben Hammond Jr. Fatal Oakhurst Crash
As per the California Highway report, Eben was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The SUV operator reportedly escaped the scene before police arrived.
