Boy Dies in San Jose Motorcycle Accident at Camden Avenue and Kooser Road
San Jose, California (July 9, 2021) – A boy was killed after being struck by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle Friday evening in the Cambrian neighborhood in south San Jose, authorities said.
The deadly accident occurred just before 5:45 p.m. in the area of Camden Avenue and Kooser Road.
A witness told the authorities that the boy was riding his motorcycle approaching a green light when he collided with a vehicle.
The impact sent the boy flying through the air five or six feet.
The child sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Drugs or alcohol were not considered a factor in the accident.
The intersection of Camden Avenue and Kooser Road was closed following the wreck.
