Rio Linda, CA: CHP Investigating Hit-and-Run Collision at 16th Street and E Street

Rio Linda, California (July 8, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run accident that happened at an intersection in Rio Linda Tuesday afternoon.
The CHP responded to the crash site just after 3:00 p.m., on July 6, at 16th Street and E Street.
The accident involved a black 2013 Jeep Wrangler and a second vehicle that crashed at the intersection under unclear circumstances.

One unidentified person riding in the Jeep was injured following the collision.
The motorist of the other automobile escaped the scene before police arrived.
More information about this crash will be released immediately after the CHP completes the investigation.
