1 Seriously Injured in Aguanga Crash on Highway 371 near Wilson Valley Road

Aguanga, California (July 5, 2021) – At least one person sustained serious injuries Saturday night following an alleged DUI crash in Aguanga, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The major injury collision happened just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday, July 3, on Highway 371, just north of Wilson Valley Road.
According to the CHP, a pickup truck collided with another vehicle in the northbound lane of Highway 371.
The pickup truck then crashed into rocks and overturned.
Highway 371 Crash in Aguanga Sends 1 to Hospital
One patient, whose name has not been disclosed, was transported to a local hospital with major injuries.
CHP later found that one of the drivers was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident. The northbound lanes of Highway 371 were temporarily closed during the investigation.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
