Dulondo Hampton Jr. ID’d as Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Father’s Day on Northgate Boulevard and Interstate 80 in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (July 3, 2021) – The man who died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver two weeks ago in North Sacramento has been identified as Dulondo Hampton Jr., 29, of Sacramento.
The incident happened at around 9:10 p.m. on June 20 in the area of Northgate Boulevard and Interstate 80.
Authorities said Hampton was walking in the area when, for unknown reasons, he was hit by a vehicle.

Hampton died at the site of the accident.
The involved driver fled from the scene after the incident. There was no description of the suspect’s vehicle or driver.
Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver.
