Santa Rosa, California (July 2, 2021) – A Scooter Rider sustained major injuries following an alleged hit-and-run collision in Santa Rosa Thursday morning, July 1.
The major injury crash happened on Highway 12 near Dutton Avenue just before 3:30 a.m.
A man riding a 2006 JMStar 150cc scooter eastbound on Highway 12 was trying to enter Dutton Avenue when he crashed with a pickup.
The scooter rider, a 51-year-old man, was ejected from the bike onto the right lane of the Highway 101 transition ramp upon the impact.

As per the report, the man sustained major injuries and was taken to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for medication.
The pickup operator reportedly escaped the scene before the police arrived.
