Victorville, California (July 2, 2021) – A fiery traffic collision has claimed the life of one person and left another injured Friday night in Victorville, according to a local news source.

Authorities responded at around 7:47 p.m. to investigate the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Village Drive and Air Express Way.

As per the report, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons at the Victorville intersection. Due to the impact, one of the vehicles involved rolled over and caught fire.

Sadly, one person died at the scene while another person was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center in unknown condition.

The crash prompted the officers to temporarily close Village Drive in both directions as the investigation and cleanup took place.

The names of the deceased person and the injured party have not been released.

The Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the incident.
