Acampo, CA: 3-Car Collision on Highway 99 near Acampo Road
1 Injured in Acampo Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 99 near Acampo Road Off-Ramp
Acampo, California (July 1, 2021) – One person was injured Tuesday afternoon in a hit-and-run crash in Acampo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, June 29, the CHP officers responded to Highway 99, just south of the Acampo Road exit, to investigate the report of a three-car collision.
The CHP said three vehicles collided on the northbound side of Highway 99. The impact caused one of the vehicles to flip onto its side.
One person sustained unknown injuries in the crash.
One of the drivers reportedly fled the scene after the crash. There was no description of the suspect’s car or driver.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
