Fresno County, California (June 29, 2021) – A driver was airlifted to a hospital following a Monday morning traffic collision in Fresno County, a local news source reported.

The crash happened at about 4:40 a.m. Monday, June 28 on Dinuba Avenue at Lac Jac Avenue.

According to the local news report, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling eastbound on Dinuba Avenue when the driver failed to stop for a red light and crashed into a Ford Super Duty pickup that was heading northbound on Lac Jac Avenue.

After the collision, the pickup struck a utility pole and caught fire before it came to rest in a peach orchard. The pickup driver was able to exit the vehicle.
