Imogene Haley Killed in Monrovia Crash on 210 Freeway

Monrovia, California (June 24, 2021) – Imogene Lea Haley, 95, of Temple City, was killed in a car accident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon in Monrovia, according to the authorities.
The incident occurred on the 210 Freeway near Huntington Drive at around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, June 23.
According to authorities, 49-year-old Humberto Gonzalez, of Pacoima was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on the freeway when he slammed into the back of a 2008 Lexus ES 350 slowing down for traffic ahead.

The impact pushed the Lexus into a 2013 Ford F-150 pickup ahead of it. This caused a chain-reaction involving a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2017 Mazda 3 in front of the Ford.
Haley was a passenger in the Lexus and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The woman who was driving the Lexus was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
The crash is under investigation.
