Sacramento, California (June 23, 2021) – A Sacramento crash involving a motorcycle Tuesday afternoon seriously injured one person.

The major injury crash happened on Interstate 5 near the Yolo rest area at approximately 3:40 p.m. on June 22

The California Highway Patrol did not establish how a red Chevrolet pickup truck, a gray Volkswagen Passat and a motorcycle crashed on the freeway.

Major Injury Sacramento Crash

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike into the right-hand shoulder of the interstate and sustained major injuries.

It was not mentioned whether or not there were other victims hurt following the collision.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
