North Highlands, California (June 22, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of an alleged hit-and-run collision that occurred at an intersection in North Highlands Sunday morning, June 20.

The crash involving a silver Lexus SUV and a silver Honda SUV happened at the intersection of Watt and Orange Grove just about 7:30 a.m. on June 20.

It was not immediately established how the collision occurred in the morning hours.

North Highlands Hit-and-Run Collision

At least one unidentified person sustained injuries in the accident.

One of the involved motorists did not stop following the crash and fled the scene.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
