Donald Hundevadt Hospitalized after North San Juan Motorcycle Crash on Highway 49

North San Juan, California (June 22, 2021) – Donald Hundevadt has been identified as a 63-year-old Grass Valley man who was hospitalized with serious injuries after being involved in a motorcycle collision in North San Juan Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol said the major injury crash happened along Highway 49 at Sweetland Road on June 20.
The accident happened when a vehicle driven by 76-year-old Michael Pate on Sweetland Road pulled in front of a motorcycle ridden by Donald northbound along Highway 49 in the afternoon hours.
Hundevadt’s bike then crashed into the car and he was ejected upon the impact.

Donald sustained major injuries and was rushed to an area hospital for medication.
Details regarding the North San Juan motorist, Pate, were not immediately established at the report time.
The crash resulted in the closure of Highway 49 at Sweetland Road for an unknown time.
