Van Nuys, California (June 21, 2021) – Several people were injured Monday night in a multi-vehicle crash in Van Nuys, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The four-car collision occurred at around 8:20 p.m. in the 7400 block of Van Nuys Boulevard.

Authorities said the crash involved four vehicles, including two that were parked. The report also indicated a pedestrian was involved.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and rescued parties who were trapped in the wreckage.

A total of eight people were injured as a result of the crash. Six of them were transported to nearby hospitals, one in fair condition and five with moderate injuries.

The remaining two patients declined hospitalization.
