Dixon, CA: Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 80

Dixon, California (June 21, 2021) – At least one person was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic collision involving five vehicles in Dixon, authorities said.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-vehicle crash happened just before 12:40 a.m. Sunday, June 20 on the westbound side of Interstate 80, just west of the Dixon Avenue exit.
Details on what led up to the collision were not immediately available, but witnesses said a black sedan was traveling at about 100 miles per hour prior to the crash.
A big rig was reportedly involved in the collision.
