San Clemente Accident on Interstate 5 Near Checkpoint Stopover Possibly Sends 3 to Hospital

San Clemente, California (June 21, 2021) – Three people were possibly hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision on June 19 in San Clemente.
The two-vehicle collision happened on Interstate 5 near a checkpoint stopover just before 3:15 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how a white sedan collided with a gray sedan on the northbound side of the interstate.

Medical personnel responded to the crash site via ambulances and attended to three people who had sustained unspecified injuries.
More details about this accident will be released after the CHP completes the investigation.
