Fresno, California (June 18, 2021) – A pedestrian accident that took place at an intersection in Fresno Wednesday night seriously injured one person.

The major injury crash happened near the intersection of Clinton and Brawley avenues at about 9:00 p.m. 

As per the report, an individual was hit by a vehicle while walking in the middle of the highway at the night hours.

The pedestrian sustained a major broken leg injury following the accident. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to the Community Regional Medical Center for further aid.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
