Newport Beach, California (June 17, 2021) – One person was killed Wednesday night in a traffic accident in Newport Beach, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly crash happened at around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, on the Costa Mesa (55) Freeway near the Corona Del Mar (73) Freeway and Baker Street on-ramp.
According to the CHP, a motorcycle and a pickup truck were involved in the crash. Details on what led up to the collision were not immediately available.
