Blythe, California (June 14, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly pedestrian accident that happened Sunday night in Blythe.
According to CHP, the incident occurred at about 11:51 p.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway near Lovekin Boulevard.
A blue Ford SUV hit the pedestrian under unclear circumstances.
Blythe police officers and firefighters responded to the scene.
Authorities said the pedestrian died in the crash.
