1 Killed in Tracy Train Crash on Linne Road near MacArthur Drive
Tracy, California (June 9, 2021) – One person died following a train collision with a streetsweeper in Tracy on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Linne Road between MacArthur Drive and Tracy Boulevard.
The accident occurred near a construction area. A streetsweeper truck reportedly got stuck on the tracks when the arms went down on both sides of the truck.

The truck was struck shortly after by an Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) Train.
CHP said the driver of the truck died in the collision.
No one on the train was injured. Authorities said the train was carrying between 50-100 people at the time of the accident.
The incident is under investigation.
