Porterville, California (June 9, 2021) – One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Porterville Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 9:22 p.m. Monday, June 7, at the intersection of Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street, near Highway 65.

CHP said two vehicles collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.

One patient, whose name was not immediately disclosed, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The intersection of Olive Avenue and Newcomb Street was closed while CHP officers investigated the scene.
