Several Hurt in Sacramento Crash on Interstate 5 near Del Paso Road On-Ramp

Sacramento, California (June 6, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury hit-and-run collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Sacramento.
According to CHP, the multi-vehicle crash occurred at around 2:32 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5, just south of Del Paso Road on-ramp.
Three vehicles collided for unknown reasons and one of them rolled several times and went through a chain-link fence.
The report said several people were injured in the crash, including one who sustained major injuries.
One of the vehicles involved fled the scene after the collision. There was no description given about the car and its driver.
About 75 feet of the chain-link fence and several posts were damaged and needed replacement.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
