Oceanside, CA: Motorcyclist Hurt in Traffic Collision on 5 Freeway near Las Pulgas Road

Oceanside, California (June 6, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hurt Saturday evening in a traffic collision that happened on 5 Freeway in Oceanside, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place at about 7:09 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway near Las Pulgas Road.

CHP said a motorcycle collided with a car under unclear circumstances.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to help the rider who suffered minor injuries.

Another ambulance was also dispatched to the scene of a separate traffic collision that happened near the motorcycle crash. It was not clear how many vehicles were involved in that wreck and if there were injuries sustained.

CHP is investigating the collisions.
