30-Year-Motorcyclist Killed in La Mesa Crash on Fletcher Parkway at Southern Road
La Mesa, California (June 4, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday night traffic accident that killed a 30-year-old motorcyclist in La Mesa.
The incident took place at around 8:20 p.m., on June 3, on Fletcher Parkway at Southern Road.
According to the police, the rider was headed eastbound on Fletcher Parkway when his motorcycle broadsided a Toyota SUV driven by an 18-year-old woman.
The SUV was reportedly turning right onto Fletcher Parkway from Southern Road when the collision occurred.
1 Killed in La Mesa Motorcycle Accident
The motorcyclist was injured and was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The SUV’s driver was not injured and is not suspected of being impaired.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
