Ventura, California (June 3, 2021) – A Ventura accident involving two vehicles Tuesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital, the California Highway Patrol said.

The minor injury crash happened on Highway 33 near Stanley Avenue at around 4:25 p.m. on June 1.

It was not immediately established how a gold Chevrolet pickup truck crashed with a white Pontiac G6 on the southbound side of the highway.

Due to the impact, the Pontiac veered off the roadway and acquired major front and rear damage.

Minor Injury Ventura Accident

The crash resulted in minor injuries to one person. The unidentified victim was attended to by paramedics before being taken to the Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.

The wreck resulted in the closure of southbound lanes of Highway 33 for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
