At Least 1 Injured in Hollywood Car Accident at Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland Avenue
Hollywood, California (May 29, 2021) – At least one person was injured after a police chase ended in a crash in Hollywood on Friday evening.
The incident began at around 4:45 p.m. when Los Angeles Police Department officers pursued a suspected drunk motorist on Melrose Avenue.
Shortly after, the suspect failed to stop for a red light at Santa Monica Boulevard and Highland Avenue and was struck by two other cars.
At Least 1 Injured in Hollywood Chase and Cash
The impact caused the suspect’s vehicle to spin out and it stopped at the corner of the intersection.
Police arrested the female suspect at the scene.
At least one of the innocent parties involved in the collision was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
