At Least 2 Injured in Highway 161 Collision near Hill Road in Siskiyou County
Siskiyou County, California (May 28, 2021) – At least two people were sent to the hospital Friday morning after a traffic collision involving a tractor near Tulelake in Siskiyou County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident happened at around 10:27 a.m. on Highway 161 near Hill Road.
As per the CHP, a silver sedan crashed with a tractor under unclear circumstances, blocking the roadway.
The report said at least two people were taken to Sky Lakes Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The sedan was towed away with major front-end damage.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
