Hemet, California (May 24, 2021) – The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Bureau has identified the motorcyclist who died following a Monday afternoon traffic accident in Hemet as Charles Clarke, 47, of Beaumont.

The deadly motorcycle accident happened at around 4:05 p.m. at the intersection of Johnston Avenue and Yale Street.

Clarke was riding his motorcycle in the area when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a sedan at the intersection, authorities said.

Clarke was thrown off the bike upon the impact.

Deadly Motorcycle Collision in Hemet

Despite life-saving measures administered by medical personnel, Clarke was pronounced dead at the scene.

The sedan driver of the car stopped at the scene after the accident.

No further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
