San Jose, California (May 20, 2021) A motorcyclist was hurt in a collision with a blue BMW in San Diego Thursday morning.

The 6:45 a.m. motorcycle accident occurred along 805 Freeway near Madison Avenue on May 20.

The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the collision occurred in the morning hours.

Due to the impact, the rider was ejected from the bike. Officials affirmed the motorcyclist managed to get up and move his motorcycle out of the highway.

The unidentified victim sustained injuries including fracture to their arm following the crash.

Limited details about the accident were released at the report time.

The CHP is still investigating to locate the BMW motorist who fled the scene after the collision.
