Tulare, CA: 2 Injured after Car Slams Into 2 Houses on Levin Avenue
2 Women Hospitalized after Tulare Hit-and-Run Accident on Levin Avenue and Spruce Street

Tulare, California (May 20, 2021) – Two women were hospitalized after a vehicle slammed into two homes in Tulare late Wednesday night, according to police.
The accident happened just before midnight on Levin Avenue and Spruce Street.
Police said a GMC Yukon was traveling in the area when, for undetermined reasons, the driver lost control of their vehicle, which crashed into one house.
The Yukon then came to a stop inside another house next door.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rescued two elderly women who were trapped inside the first house.
Both women were then transported to a nearby hospital, one with major injuries. Their names and current condition were not disclosed.
The driver of the Yukon fled the area. A passenger in the Yukon also attempted to flee but was arrested by police.
Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
