1 Injured in Capistrano Beach Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Pacific Coast Highway
Capistrano Beach, California (May 20, 2021) – At least one person was injured after three vehicles collided near Dana Point in Capistrano Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 Freeway near Pacific Coast Highway at about 3:02 p.m. May 19.
According to the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved in the collision. The events preceding the collision were yet to be established.
One person sustained possible minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
