Contra Costa, California (May 20, 2020) – A major injury motorcycle accident was reported in Concord, Contra Costa, on Wednesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 6:01 p.m. May 19, on Highway 4 near Port Chicago Highway.
A motorcycle reportedly collided with a Nissan Altima in unclear circumstances. The authorities who responded to the incident found the rider down on the roadway.
As per the CHP report, the rider suffered major injuries in the accident and was rushed to Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek for treatment.
The condition of the Nissan driver was not immediately disclosed.
