Man Dies in San Diego Crash on Balboa Avenue at Mount Everest Boulevard
San Diego, California (May 17, 2021) – A man was killed in a traffic collision on Sunday night in the Clairemont Mesa West area of San Diego, according to authorities.
Just before 10:20 p.m. May 16, San Diego police said a 2016 Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Balboa Avenue when it broadsided a 2018 Honda traveling north on Mount Everest Boulevard.

The driver of the Honda, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, a 29-year-old woman, was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.
