Rebecca Coronado-Obregon Killed in Marysville Pedestrian Accident on Highway 70
Marysville, California (May 14, 2021) – The 38-year-old Marysville woman who was hit and killed by a vehicle last Friday morning in Marysville has been identified as Rebecca Coronado-Obregon, according to the Yuba County Sheriff’s Office.
The accident occurred just before 2:30 a.m. May 7, on Highway 70 near the McGowan Parkway over-crossing.
According to CHP, Coronado-Obregon was walking northbound in an unlit section of the highway when a southbound car struck her.

Sadly, Coronado-Obregon was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP said drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
