Yolo, California (May 12, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury crash that happened Tuesday afternoon in Yolo.

On May 11, shortly before 3:15 p.m., the CHP received a crash report involving three vehicles on Old River Road at and County Road 22

Officials identified the vehicles involved as a white van, a white Toyota Prius and a third unspecified vehicle.

Old River Road Multi-Vehicle Crash

The crash reportedly left one person with major injuries. The unidentified victim received first aid treatment from paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital for medication.

The accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
