3 Injured, 2 Hospitalized after La Jolla Car Accident on Girard Avenue
La Jolla, California (May 12, 2021) – Three people were injured on Wednesday morning after a vehicle crashed into a building in La Jolla, authorities said.
The accident occurred just after 10:00 a.m. on 7545 Girard Avenue.
According to the officials, an SUV crashed into the back of a La Jolla restaurant in unclear circumstances.
3 Injured in Crash on Girard Avenue
Three people were injured in the accident. Two were hospitalized for treatment.
San Diego Gas & Electric crews were called to the scene regarding a gas leak on the property. The reported gas leak prompted the evacuation of the coffee shop and the businesses next door.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
