38-Year-Old Marysville Woman Killed in Marysville Pedestrian Crash on Highway 70 near McGowan Parkway Over-Crossing
Marysville, California (May 8, 2021) – A 38-year-old Marysville woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Marysville, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired just before 2:30 a.m., on May 7, on Highway 70 near the McGowan Parkway over-crossing.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the woman was walking northbound in an unlit part of the highway when a car heading southbound struck her.

Sadly, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the incident, the officials said.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
