Arlington, California (May 7, 2021) – A motorcyclist was hurt in a suspected hit-and-run traffic collision Thursday afternoon in Arlington, Riverside County.

Authorities responded to the crash site at approximately 12:25 p.m. on the 91 Freeway just west of Van Buren Boulevard.

The California Highway Patrol said a white Honda Accord was hit by a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck on May 6 for undetermined reasons. The Honda Accord then ended up slamming into a motorcycle in the HOV.

The rider was ejected from the bike upon the impact.

Arlington Motorcycle Accident

As per the CHP report, the motorcyclist sustained unspecified injuries in the crash.

Meanwhile, one of the drivers did not stop to render aid and fled the scene before officials arrived.

The CHP requested a tow truck to remove the wrecked motorcycle away from the crash site.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
