Placerville, California (May 7, 2021) – At least one person sustained major injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Placerville Wednesday afternoon, May 5.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site shortly before 3:50 p.m. on Highway 50 at Camino Heights Drive.

As per the report, a blue pickup truck swerved from the eastbound lane onto the westbound side of the roadway, where it slammed into a silver SUV.
