1 Injured in Newman Car Crash on Canal School Road and Braza Road
Newman, California (May 7, 2021) – At least one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Newman on Thursday evening.
The crash happened in the area of Canal School Road and Braza Road at about 5:40 p.m. May 6, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A semi-truck and a black sedan were involved in the collision. Although the manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established, the impact of the collision sent one of the vehicles off the roadway where it crashed into a telephone pole.
As per the CHP incident logs, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
