Modesto, CA: 2 Hospitalized after 2-Vehicle Collision at 6th and I Streets

Modesto, California (May 7, 2021)  A two-vehicle collision involving a marked Fire Department vehicle at an intersection in Modesto Wednesday evening sent two people to the hospital.

A Nissan sedan reportedly crashed with the Fire Department vehicle in the area of 6th and I Street just after 5:30 p.m. May 5

The circumstances that led to the collision in the evening hours were not released at the time of the report.

Modesto Crash Injures 2 Parties

Two people, including a Modesto Fire Department battalion chief and another party riding in the Nissan, were hurt in the crash.

Both unidentified victims were then rushed to an area hospital for medication

The accident remains under investigation.
