David Jones Dies in San Jose Accident on Kooser Road
San Jose, California (May 6, 2021) – David Jones, 52, died in a San Jose hit-and-run crash that occurred on Tuesday night, according to authorities.
The accident was reported at around 9:55 p.m. May 4.
Authorities said Jones was riding a one-wheel e-scooter in the 1500 block of Kooser Road when he lost control and fell onto the ground.
Shortly after, Jones was run over by an unidentified vehicle. The driver of that vehicle did not stop after the accident.

Jones died in the crash.
Both directions of Kooser Road were closed between Camden Avenue to Ardmore Way as authorities investigated the incident.
The San Jose Police Department is handling the investigation.
