Man Killed in Sunnyvale Pedestrian Crash at West Maude and Borregas Avenues
Sunnyvale, California (May 6, 2021) – A man was killed in a Sunnyvale pedestrian crash on West Maude and Borregas avenues early Wednesday morning, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 5:10 a.m. May 5.
A man was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons in the area.
Medics responded to the crash and gave medical aid to the pedestrian. He was however pronounced deceased at the scene.
Pedestrian Killed in Sunnyvale Crash
The victim’s identity was not immediately available.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the accident.
The Sunnyvale Police Department is investigating the incident.
