Motorcyclist, Passenger Injured in Palmetto Crash on Bucks Lake Road
Palmetto, California (May 3, 2021) – A motorcycle rider and passenger were injured in a Sunday evening traffic collision in Palmetto, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
Just after 6:50 p.m. Sunday, May 2, emergency personnel responded to Bucks Lake Road to investigate the report of a solo-motorcycle crash.
As per the CHP report, the motorcycle carrying two riders crashed for unknown reasons on Bucks Lake Road. The bike sustained major damage as a result of the accident.
Motorcycle Crash on Bucks Lake Road in Palmetto
According to the CHP, the female rider was airlifted to Enloe Medical Center with major injuries while the male rider was taken via a ground ambulance to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Their identities and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
A tow truck was dispatched to the scene to remove the disabled motorcycle.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
