Pedestrian Hurt in Fontana Accident on Cherry Avenue near Santa Ana Avenue
Fontana, California (May 3, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured in a Fontana crash in the area of Cherry Avenue, north of Santa Ana Avenue on Saturday, according to a police report.
Police said a pedestrian was walking west across Cherry Avenue when he was hit by a southbound vehicle believed to be a tractor-trailer.
The driver reportedly fled the scene after the accident.
The victim was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
The Fontana Police Department is investigating the incident.
