Woman Killed, Another Hospitalized after Oxnard Crash at Gonzales Road and Victoria Avenue

Oxnard, California (May 2, 2021) – A two-vehicle collision has claimed the life of a woman Thursday night in Oxnard and left another with injuries, authorities said.
The deadly wreck was reported at about 9:45 p.m. Thursday, April 29, at the intersection of Gonzales Road and Victoria Avenue.
According to the authorities, a Nissan Altima collided with a Dodge Durango for undetermined reasons at the Oxnard intersection.
Oxnard 2-Car Collision Kills One, Injures One
The female driver of the Altima sustained major injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin.
A 31-year-old Oxnard woman, who was the Durango driver, was hospitalized with minor injuries. Her condition at this time remained undisclosed.
It is still unclear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
