Man Seriously Injured in Moreno Valley Pedestrian Accident at Perris Boulevard and Sunnymead Boulevard

Moreno Valley, California (April 30, 2021) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night at a Moreno Valley intersection, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department press release.
The major injury collision happened at around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, at the intersection of Perris Boulevard and Sunnymead Boulevard.
As per the release, a man was walking across Perris Boulevard when, for unknown reasons, he was hit by a vehicle.
Major Injury Traffic Accident in Moreno Valley
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the man suffering from major injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. The authorities said neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the collision.
Police closed the roadway for nearly three hours during the investigation.
