1 Sustains Major Injuries in Woodland Crash on Interstate 5
Woodland, California (April 29, 2021) – One person was seriously injured in a single-car collision that occurred early Thursday morning in Woodland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at about 1:00 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5.
A party reporting the accident said a black Ford Ranger pickup truck was blocking a traffic lane, and other vehicles were almost crashing into it.
The party was attempting to move the involved driver out of the roadway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to find the driver with serious injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities are collecting more information to establish the cause of the crash.
