Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on 210 Freeway near 118 Freeway in Pacoima
Pacoima, California (April 27, 2021) – A female pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Pacoima on Sunday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the eastbound 210 Freeway just west of the 118 Freeway westbound transition at about 8 p.m. April 25.
The Los Angeles Fire Department officers who responded to the incident found a female pedestrian lying on the #4 lane of the freeway after being hit by a car.
The unidentified woman was transported to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The driver that struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
