Santa Ysabel, California (April 26, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a major injury motorcycle collision that happened at an intersection in Santa Ysabel Sunday afternoon.
The CHP said the head-on crash happened in the area of Grade Road and Highway 76 at around 2:24 p.m.
The accident involved a motorcycle and unspecified vehicle that collided head-on at the Santa Ysabel intersection under unclear circumstances.
One person, whose name was not revealed, suffered major injuries in the accident. The patient was attended to by paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital for medication.
The collision resulted in the closure of Grade Road and Highway 76 for an unknown time.
